Dear Faith Leaders,
On Friday, August 28, 2026, Rev. Al Sharpton, the National Action Network (NAN), and the Drum Major Institute will lead the MARCH ON WASHINGTON TO DEFEND THE VOTE! We will be joined by civil rights, faith, labor, and community organizations from across America — and we need you there!
In preparation for the March on Washington to Defend the Vote, we are inviting you to join a national clergy organizing Zoom meeting with Rev. Al Sharpton. The call will focus on mobilizing our churches, coordinating transportation, and ensuring strong faith community participation in the march.
Your participation is essential as we work together to protect voting rights and strengthen our collective witness for justice. The Black Church has long stood at the forefront of movements expanding freedom and democracy, and this moment calls for that same leadership.
Please join Rev. Al Sharpton, the National Action Network, and clergy leaders nationwide as we prepare for this historic demonstration in Washington, D.C. We encourage you to invite pastors, ministers, church leaders, and congregants committed to defending the sacred right to vote.
Together, let us stand, organize, and march in the tradition of faith leaders who have always answered the call for justice.
We look forward to your participation on Monday, July 27 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
Register now to join the national clergy organizing meeting and help bring the faith community to Washington on August 28.
